Putting on makeup is one of the best ways to look extra Beautiful. It actually doesn’t mean you’re not beautiful, it just means you want to further enhance your beauty. Wearing clothes doesn’t mean you’re not comfortable in your own skin, likewise applying makeup.

The art of making up isn’t to be ignored in this present age. Although it comes with a lot of controversies and this is because people try to infuse culture into civilization thereby causing a stereotypical belief about it.

However, the underlying causes of this stereotypical mindset are as a result of some people’s wrong knowledge and use of makeup. I can say as a professionally trained makeup artist that it is important for one to look good but in the right way. After all, what is worth doing is worth doing well. Why apply what makes you look like a masquerade when you can look like a queen???.

Makeup isn’t for you if you have low self-esteem. Rather than use makeup as a shield to your self-esteem issues, attack the problem from the roots. Think like a Confident Queen. Makeup is only a partial way to build your self-confidence. It’s not a bad thing to want to look good but it becomes bad if you don’t do it rightly.

The best thing is to tell yourself you’re beautiful with or without makeup, that way your self-confidence is better and stronger. This means that you will still feel good even when you forgot your make up kit at home in a hurry to go to work or you have a date with your significant other and couldn’t glam up on time so as to beat the traffic jam.

Makeup isn’t for you if you have skin issues. It’s best to take good and proper care of your skin cause you’ll wear it every day of your life. Sometimes, once skin can be very sensitive to makeup so rather than cover your blemishes every time, tackle it head-on.

Makeup isn’t for you if you wear it to seek validation. Do You, For You, By You. You don’t need to wear makeup to seek anyone’s approval. Wear it cause you want to.

Lastly, Makeup isn’t for you if your belief is not in sync with it. You don’t have to pretend to be what you’re not. Love yourself. Be the best version of yourself. Just be You.
